About Amy McCord

Amy graduated from McGavock High School in 1993. Following graduation she went to work for a family neighbor as an accountant for his business for 4 years. Amy then went on to work at a collection agency in 2000 that was owned by her future mother-in-law, this is where she met her husband Brandon. In this position Amy did all aspects of accounting, including payroll, and served as the accounting team lead. Amy left that position in 2013 and began working for New Horizons in 2014 as the Accounts Payable specialist and Payroll Administrator. In 2016, Amy also served as Office manager. In 2019, she became the HR Manager and still handles Payroll. Throughout her time at New Horizons, Amy has grown in her love of working with people.

Amy has 1 son, Jacob, who she brought into the field in 2016 and serves as a Family Based Provider for 3 individuals. Amy also provides family based services to her and Brandon’s fur baby and company mascot, Ziggy.
